In-home Personal Care & Lifestyle Assistance

MDSIA provide support to people living in the community that are individually funded by the Queensland Government. Clients of the service are given the choice of what staff they will have working in their house and the support they receive is based on the needs and wants that they identify in a Lifestyle support plan that is tailored by themselves with their case worker. Services that an In-home client may have are;

  • Personal Care Assistance
  • Meal preparation
  • Assistance with meals
  • Light house hold duties
  • Assistance accessing the community
  • Sleepovers

MDSIA staff are unable to help to heavier house cleaning; this includes, but is not limited to;

  • Washing walls
  • Cleaning fans
  • Scrubbing floors
  • Rearranging furniture
  • Cleaning gutters and roofs etc
